In the second half of December, Info Kapital Books Publishing House hosted a creative evening dedicated to reviewing the results of the outgoing year and discussing priority objectives for 2026. The event was attended by the publishing house’s management, editorial staff, experienced translators, and dedicated members of the team.
At the opening of the meeting, Publishing Director Muhiddin Kholdarov addressed the team with a special message, expressing his sincere gratitude to each employee who has made a valuable contribution over many years to the growth and current achievements of the organization.
Among the key accomplishments of 2025, special emphasis was placed on the successful signing of copyright agreements for the translation and publication of books in the Uzbek language with a number of foreign countries, including Latvia, the United States of America, Germany, Turkey, and Russia. Recognizing these achievements as the result of collective effort, the management highlighted the decisive importance of the team’s ideas and initiatives in implementing the new strategic plans set for 2026.
During the meeting, staff members proposed innovative approaches to strengthening book promotion in the era of digital technologies. In particular, plans were made to produce short video trailers that reveal the essence and value of each publication and to distribute them through social media platforms. In addition, to enhance convenience for modern readers, the launch of the publishing house’s own audio application is planned, along with the release of audiobook versions of selected works by renowned Uzbek national writers.
Considerable attention was also given to expanding and systematically developing the popular science segment. A key objective was defined as the creation of a series of accessible books covering the most relevant and contemporary knowledge in the fields of history, business, psychology, and economics. In 2026, within the framework of this series, Info Kapital Books plans to translate and publish the finest examples of foreign literature in Uzbek, thereby providing readers with access to global experience and advanced knowledge.
During the discussion, translator Fakhriddin Sodiqov, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, poet and writer Abdunabi Hamro, editors Umida Gaffarova and Mavjuda Ahmedova, as well as translator Farzona Hamroyeva, put forward important proposals within their respective areas of expertise. Among them was the agreement to prepare interview-based books featuring successful individuals from various fields under the “Suhbat” series, as well as to organize roundtable discussions.
In order to establish stronger feedback channels with readers, the creation of the “Read First” club – a community of loyal readers – was proposed. Members of this club will have the opportunity to read new books prior to their official release. Additionally, the organization of small-scale book fairs in different regions is intended to facilitate direct engagement with readers and the collection of their feedback and suggestions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all proposals were thoroughly reviewed and incorporated into the publishing house’s 2026 Roadmap. The implementation of these strategic objectives is expected to elevate Info Kapital Books to a new stage of development.
